The Beginning

       My name is Gabriela M. Garrido. I am currently seventeen years old and I live in Orlando, Florida. I live with my mother and my younger bother. I am one of four and my mother has been a single mother for as long as I can remember. It has been hard...not having money for certain things and living in a small apartment. But one thing that I can say about my mother is that she is a hard worker, loving, kind (and even though she can be a pain) she is the best mom that I have ever know.

       Next year I will be graduating and I wanted to create a blog to tell people about my triumphs and tribulations that I will endure this coming school year. Everything from boys, to teachers and chorus to prom. I will try and write or post something every week but we will see how it goes. 
   
       Right now I have about a week and a half before summer vacation. All of the seniors at my school had their last day on Friday so tomorrow is something called Senior Step Up Day. This is where all the juniors (like me) step up as the new seniors of the school. We clam tables, dress in all red and become very territorial. It is kinda weird but it should be fun. :) But again we will see how it goes.
